Description: 
The aim of this course is to equip you with the ability to make informed career decisions. The course will start out with presenting typical career options for STEM PhDs. Next we will cover the career planning process: Identifying your interests, knowing your skills, learning about personality aspects and values as well as taking decisions. Participants will then learn all practical aspects of the application process: how to write a CV and cover letter and how to prepare for job interviews. The focus of this course is on career options in industry, business and the public sector. This course does not cover the specifics of the academic job market.
