Description:
Climate models are used to simulate the past, present and future of our climate. These models are a set of physically based mathematical equations mimicking the different components of the earth system and the interactions between them. We shall learn about different levels of complexities of climate models and different components of a typical General Circulation Model (GCM) model. Finally, we shall dive inside a climate model code, learn to run it and and visualize its outputs.
